About Me:
Dr Rukaiya Harianawala is an Occupational therapist who has done her graduation at Sion medical college and then she pursued her masters at Nair medical college. She has extensive experience of 23 years. She has been certified by the University of Southern California for Sensory Integration
(SIPT)part 1, and certified in Rhythmic movement therapy, her clinical expertise lies in dealing with children from literally 0 year to adults. She is very passionate about working with children with various abilities using a wholistic, family centered, evidence-based approach, tailoring individualized
therapy for every child to reach their full potential. She is presently working as a consultant with Prince Aly Khan hospital, Aditya Birla Integrated School and operating from her clinic named Meesha, situated at Jacob circle.
Dr Rukaiya is also a part of the Neurorehabilitation team as an Occupational Therapist. She has been a part of the foundation of the Neurorehabilitation from the start and works to guide patients for ADL, hand function training, cognitive training and home modifications once patients are discharged.
